WAUSAU — Wausau Smiles Dental will celebrate the opening of its new location with a ribbon cutting ceremony in late October.

The event, at 4 p.m. Oct. 23 at 301 North 17th Ave., Suite 200, is open to the public.

Wausau Smiles Dental opened in May 2014 and the private dental practice is locally owned and operated. Wausau Smiles Dental provides complete and comprehensive care for patients of all ages.

“We are very excited to offer the area’s newest dental facility up on the hill on 17th Avenue. The building was designed to provide a unique, one-of-a-kind patient experience as the top priority,” said Dr. Aaron Bushong in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “From the friendly, relaxing atmosphere and the spectacular views of Rib Mountain from all of our operatories, to the modern comforting amenities throughout the facility, we are looking forward to providing a positive and relaxing experience with the highest quality of modern dental care possible on every patient.”

Wausau Smiles is proud to give back to the community.

“We love giving back to the area that has given us all so much, whether it’s through visiting schools to talk about dental health and supporting the local school organizations, supporting Wausau Events for Summer Kick-off and Balloon and Rib Fest, helping out the Wisconsin Woodchucks, who Dr. Bushong once pitched for, or sponsoring the Wausau Police Department Awards Banquet,” said Sarah Schueller, operations manager, in the news release.

The clinic is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday and from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday. For more information about Wausau Smiles Dental, visit their website or call 715-842-3933.
