WAUSAU — True North Counseling & Wellness will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house this week to celebrate a completed expansion and remodeling project.

A ribbon cutting will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 12 at 500 Third St., Suite 2018. An open house will follow, until 10:30 a.m.

“We chose to celebrate during this week with Wednesday being World Mental Health Day and Friday marking the conclusion of Mental Illness Awareness Week,” said Christine Steckart Ellis, owner, clinical director and licensed professional counselor, in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “We are looking forward to celebrating our newly renovated space and to recognize an incredible first year partnering with our community to cultivate and grow mental wellness in central Wisconsin.”
