WAUSAU — The United Way of Marathon County will host Wausau’s first .1K run, yes, .1K run, for charity in October.
The Wausau 0.1K Run for Charity will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Oct. 20 at Wausau’s 400 Block in downtown Wausau.
It features quirky races (Moustache Dash and Rewind Race, for example), food and music, so the county can help provide diapers and formula to local families in crisis —think Bundles of Joy program.
