Saturday marked the 22nd annual Ringle Harvest Day, with something for everyone during the day-long event.

More than 100 vendors spread out on the streets of Ringle, all selling something different. There were plenty of food vendors, homemade arts and crafts, antique walking canes, rustic gently used tools and plenty of random items  I didn’t even know existed. The event draws more than 1,000 people each year.

The event was complete with a traveling petting zoo for the kiddies with a pot belly pig, fuzzy chickens, cows, rabbits and goats.

Needless to say, it was well worth freezing my tush off for a bit of shopping, eating and helping out the locals of Ringle. The event is held each year on the second Saturday in October, so be sure to mark your calendar for next year’s Harvest Day.
