Water main break shuts down Sherman St. in Wausau

WAUSAU — A portion of Sherman Street in Wausau will be closed due to a water main break, according to the city of Wausau Government Facebook page.

Sherman Street will be closed between South 12th and South 13th Avenues as crews repair the break, officials said. The road is expected to reopen at about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Motorists should avoid the route but emergency vehicles will be allowed access if necessary, city officials said.
