Bite Squad will host a hiring event on two separate days as they seek 15 new drivers by the end of the year.
The local restaurant delivery service is hosting Driver Hiring Events from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20 and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 24 at the company’s office, 2012 N. Sixth St., Wausau.
The hiring event includes full-time and part-time opportunities for both seasonal and long-term driving positions. Candidates attending the event can participate in open interviews and learn more about driving for Bite Squad. The event is an opportunity to meet hiring managers and enjoy light refreshments in an open house atmosphere.
“As temperatures begin to fall, demand for the convenience of food delivery always rises,” said Kyle Hale, Chief Operating Officer for Bite Squad. “This hiring event provides us with an opportunity to fortify our driver squad in preparation for the busy season ahead.”
Bite Squad drivers connect the city’s top restaurants with hungry customers at their homes or workplaces, and serve as the public face of the company. Unlike with many delivery companies, Bite Squad drivers are W2 employees. The position offers a guaranteed hourly wage plus tips, flexible scheduling and the support of both a local team and a 24/7 dispatch support team.
