The Abbotsford Story, Inc. has donated a total of $2,250 to two local area organizations. In September, donations were presented to Samoset Council for its STEM Lab and D.C Everest for Books on the Bus.
Every March and September, AbbyBank’s charitable foundation, The Abbotsford Story, Inc. receives funding requests from area schools, nonprofit and community organizations to help enrich, create or support existing community public projects.
The Abbotsford Story, Inc. was formed in 1986 as a private charitable foundation of AbbyBank. Since then, AbbyBank has made contributions totaling over $1.1 million to the foundation. Over the years, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Appleton, Medford, Wausau, Weston and neighboring area organizations totaling nearly $904,000.
