Sandra Zoborowski
Sandra A. Zoborowski, passed away Oct. 14, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Sandra was born June 21, 1942, to the late Alvie and Helen (Schiefelbein) Sefton in Wausau. She married Dan Zoborowski on May 17, 1966, in Wausau; he survives.
Sandra enjoyed many hobbies which included shooting pool with her husband, Dan, in a pool league, arts and crafts, and frequenting rummage sales and flea markets to find a good deal. She enjoyed watching Animal Planet and any program about animals and nature. One of her favorite evening activities was going out for fish fries-a true Wisconsinite. Although she loved her fish fries, pizza was Sandra’s favorite food. She could eat it every day without hesitation. Family was the most important part of Sandra’s life. She will be greatly missed.
Sandra is survived by husband, Dan; daughter Lisa Rae Zoborowski; sister Karen Johnson; nieces and nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Dennis Sefton.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, Oct. 22, at 1 p.m. at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau. The Rev. Robert Thorn will officiate. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.
The family would like to extend a personal thank you to the Aspirus Oncology Care Unit and Palliative Care Unit for the care and compassion given to Sandra.

Joyce Steinke
Joyce (Lodholz) Steinke, 87, Wausau, passed away peacefully on Oct. 17, 2018.
She was born June 13, 1931, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Wausau to the late Herbert and Mayme (Ferries) Lodholz. On Sept. 9, 1950, she married Rupert Steinke at St. James Catholic Church, Wausau. He preceded her in death on April 23, 2004. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in September 2000 with dinner and dancing.
Joyce was employed at Wausau Memorial Hospital, Kennedy Rehabilitation and Jubilee House and was maintenance person at St. Agnes Church. She loved her church very much, doing cooking for S.T.A.R.S. (St. Agnes Retired Seniors) with her very good friends Jan, Carol and Ruth, helping with funerals and just enjoying all the special people.
Besides helping her husband, Rupert, and their children do their farm work, she loved gardening, canning and spending lots of time with her loving children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Joyce also enjoyed playing bingo, going to the casino, bowling, fishing with her husband and children and volunteering at her church.
Survivors include two children DuWayne (Marietta) Steinke and Darrell (Laureen) Steinke, three grandchildren Kevin Steinke, Clint (Erica) Steinke, and Justin (Vanessa) Steinke and eight great-grandchildren Zoe, Alyvia, Brayln, Jayda, Carson, Kendyl, Emery and Enley Steinke. She is also survived by two sisters, Joan Jehn and Lois (Lester) Niewolny, four sisters-in-law as well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Besides her parents and husband Rupert, Joyce was preceded in death by five sisters, Lucille Budleski, Evelyn Smith, Ruth Seymour, Shirley Felch and Delores Lodholz, one brother Orville Lodholz and very special friend Cindy Sekorski.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 25, 2018, at St. Agnes Catholic Church, Weston. Rev. Greg Boren will preside. Burial will be in the St. Agnes parish cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau, and again on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. There will be a prayer service Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Ann Leader
Mary Ann Baehler-Leader, 80, of Medford went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She is survived by her brothers, Gilbert Baehler, Robert Baehler, James Baehler and Donald Baehler. Preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Eleanor Baehler; husband, Marvin Leader; and sister, Cheryl Baehler.
Memorial of her life to be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Trinity Lutheran Church, W5334 Dassow Lane in Medford. The Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family. For online condolences, please visit www.HonorOne.com.
John Mosey Sr.
John Francis Mosey Sr., affectionately known as Punch, passed peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, in Stevens Point.
Born Aug. 19, 1921, to Helen (Kolvakowski) and Steve Mosey, John was the youngest of six siblings: Emil, Clifford, Andy, Arlene (Marjama) and Janet (Caldwell). In 1941, he followed his brother and father to work at the Soo Line, and worked the last passenger train from Chicago to Stevens Point. Punch continued to work on Soo Line freight trains until retiring in 1982. During those years, Punch also opened a bar on Stevens Point’s north side and worked as an appliance repairman for Sears.
In 1947, Punch married Catherine Love and raised seven children: Kathleen, John Jr., James, Thomas, Patrick, Ann and Andrew.
During his 97 years, Punch also loved ?shing, hunting, camping, golf, poker and was a member of the Model A Club.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Church of the Holy Spirit Parish, 838 Fremont St., Stevens Point. The Mid-Wisconsin Cremation Society is assisting the family.
