The Abbotsford Story, Inc. has donated $2,300 to two local organizations. In September 2018, donations were presented to Opportunity of North Central Wisconsin for storage space needs and Our Savior’s Lutheran School for its reading program.
Every March and September, AbbyBank’s charitable foundation, The Abbotsford Story, Inc. receives requests from many area schools, nonprofits and community organizations for funds needed to enrich, create or support existing community public projects.
The Abbotsford Story, Inc. was formed in 1986 as a private charitable foundation of AbbyBank. Since then, AbbyBank has made contributions totaling over $1.1 million to the foundation. Over the years, the foundation has made donations to Abbotsford, Appleton, Medford, Wausau, Weston and neighboring area organizations totaling nearly $904,000.
