About Diwali

Diwali is the most joyous of celebrations for Hindus in India, although the festivities go far beyond any religious ceremonies. The Diwali party is an occasion for the community to showcase Indian talent, enjoy Indian food, dance, and celebrate life. It is in keeping with the mission of the Indian Society of North Central Wisconsin, which is to further the awareness of the Asian Indian community by creating positive multi-cultural events that bring unity and improve the overall community.
