STEVENS POINT — Learn more about social, economic and environmental aspects of a sustainable lifestyle during the annual National Campus Sustainability Fair Oct. 24 at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.

The information fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Laird Room of the Dreyfus University Center. The event is free and open to the public.

A variety of businesses, nonprofit organizations and student groups will provide information about sustainability in various arenas, including locally produced food, fair-trade products, sustainable transportation, personal health, energy efficiency and waste management.

Nationally, Campus Sustainability Month raises awareness about sustainability successes, challenges and innovation in higher education, communities and around the world. This year’s theme is non-partisan voting and November elections. The Office of Sustainability held an Instagram photo challenge of how people are “voting with their dollar.” Visitors to the fair can vote for a favorite photo.
