While society is emphasizing togetherness, joy and giving thanks, the holidays can stir a wide array of emotions in those who have lost someone important to them – dread, anxiety, sadness, remorse, regret, loneliness and even anger. Everyone is invited to spend an evening exploring how to handle this challenging time of year.

Handling the Holidays, a free Ascension program for those who have experienced the death of a loved one, will be offered in Marshfield, Plover, Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids. There is no cost to participate, but pre-registration is required.

The Wausau group will meet from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. Nov. 6 at the Ascension home office (2600 Stewart Ave., Suite 160).

The Marshfield group will meet from 6:30 -7:30 p.m. Nov. 7 at the Ascension home office (303 West Upham St., Suite 200).
