Dear editor,

As a volunteer advocate for heart health and wellness, I have the opportunity to work with many state and national political leaders. I have found that Senator Petrowski is one leader who continuously stands out for his leadership and passion for positive change.

Several years ago, I asked Senator Petrowski for his support on baby heart screenings. Senator Petrowski personally took on authoring the bill and worked relentlessly to ensure all babies received this screening. His efforts have helped save over 100 babies in Wisconsin to date. He also helped lead two life saving CPR bills. The first bill ensured all high school students received lifesaving CPR skills while in school. The second empowered dispatchers to provide life saving CPR instruction over the phone. Neither of these would have passed without Senator Petrowski fighting for them every step of the way.

As of result of his efforts, Senator Petrowski has been honored as Legislator of the Year as a health champion for three legislative sessions in a row. His actions have saved hundreds of lives. His impact has been tremendous. Most impressively, Senator Petrowski has an impeccable character and integrity. He works across the aisle for solutions and always treats others with civility and respect. Senator Petrowski exemplifies the actions we need to make the future better than today. His leadership is needed to do more great work in Madison. Please support him and remember to vote on Nov. 6!
