WAUSAU — Wausau Pilot & Review will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 13 at 500 North Third Street, Suite 208-8.

Readers are welcome and are encouraged to attend.

Wausau Pilot & Review is a nonprofit, independent, online newspaper that covers local government, public safety, education, and environmental issues. The newspaper launched in March 2017 and has since published more than 5,000 stories, reaching thousands of online readers each day.

In September, the organization hired its first advertising and marketing director, Darren Siewert, and moved into a permanent home at CitySquare Office Center. Wausau Pilot & Review is also launching local high school coverage starting this month. The ribbon cutting will celebrate these milestones.

“Since our launch, this organization has grown tremendously,” said Shereen Siewert, publisher and executive editor of the newspaper. “I’m so grateful to our sponsors and readers. We’re excited to have a downtown Wausau location that will allow us better access to the community, and we’re looking forward to even greater growth in the coming year.”
