TOWN OF RIB MOUNTAIN — Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in finding the suspects who stole several high-end toolboxes valued at more than $14,000.

At about 2: 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 12, the suspect drove onto the victim’s property in the town of Rib Mountain, backed up to a storage trailer and removed several Snap-On toolboxes, according to Marathon County Crime Stoppers. Police say the vehicle could be a white Isuzu flat-nose truck with a flatbed.

The toolboxes are a high gloss black Snap On roll cab toolbox with dimensions of 54 ¼ inches wide by 39 7/8 inches high by 24 inches deep. The toolboxes weighed about 564 pounds each and were still brand new in the package. The loss is estimated at $13,550.

Another Snap-On toolbox weighing about 100 pounds worth $850 was also taken, police said.

One of the thieves appears to be a man who was wearing a stocking cap with a hooded sweatshirt, pants, and gloves of some sort, police said. The suspect appeared to have a stocky or full build.
