STEVENS POINT — The Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra and Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum will hold the second Scarabocchio Jazz Listening Session of Fall 2018 this week.

Meade Street Collective will perform at 7 p.m. Nov. 14 at the Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum 800 Main St., Stevens Point.

Meade Street Collective is a contemporary jazz group with a focus on original compositions whose influences stem from an eclectic mix of jazz, soul, funk, rock, R&B and hip hop. The band consists of Katie Del Giacco (saxophone), Malakai Flynn (guitar), Austin Bolden (bass), and Adam Hatton (drums). Each member contributes his or her own compositions and ideas.

Each of the three sessions feature local professional musicians performing standards, newly composed and improvised jazz music.
