TOWN OF TOMAHAWK — Two people are hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash early Sunday in the town of Tomahawk, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

The rollover crash happened on Hwy. 86 at Spirit View Road early Sunday morning.

The driver, a 20-year-old Tomahawk man, and his passenger, a 21-year-old Triopli man, were taken by private auto to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital but were later transferred to the trauma center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital due to the nature of their injuries, police said.

Deputies suspect speed and alcohol are factors in the crash, which remains under investigation. No names have been released.
