Wausau— Take a look at the Athlete of the Week candidates and vote today!

Leah Earnest, SPASH– Earnest had a career night on Friday in SPASH’s loss to Pewaukee.  She hit for a SPASH single game scoring record 40 points.  Earnest is currently averaging 32.7 points per game.

Tess Hauer, Wausau West– Hauer came up big in West’s win over Antigo this weekend by scoring 21 points.  The Warriors are off to a great start this season with a 3-1 record.

Jack Kane, Wausau East– Kane was able in the Lumberjacks’ win over Mosinee. Kane was 9-11 from the floor for 29 points, and he also grabbed four rebounds.

Madalyn Bohn, Assumption– Bohn scored 29 points to lead the Assumption Royals to a Cranberry Classic victory over arch rival Loyal on Friday.  Assumption went on to defeat Columbus to claim the tournament title.

Julia Seidel, Newman– Seidel came up big for the Cardinals as they knocked off Lakeland.  Seidel scored 20 points to lead Newman.  16 of her points came in the first half.
