WESTON, Wis. — Thanks to numerous tips from the public, police have arrested a man suspected of exposing himself to a child at a Weston department store earlier this month.

Last week, Everest Metro Police released photo and video footage of a person of interest in the case, which happened just before 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17 at Target, 2707 Schofield Ave., Weston.

That suspect has been identified as Christopher McCullum, a 22 year old Illinois man.  He was taken into custody Friday afternoon and will appear in Marathon County Circuit Court today, according to Everest Metro Police Chief Clay Schulz.

Official charges have not yet been filed, but Marathon County Jail records show McCullum is being held on preliminary charges of exposing genitals/pubic area to a child.

Wausau Pilot and Review will update this story after McCullum’s initial appearance in court.
