Kerry Bloemers has joined Wisconsin Institute for Public Policy and Service as the development program manager, WIPPS announced this week.

Bloemers’ main duty will be to manage fundraising efforts, along with implementing a strategic plan to drive WIPPS’ contributed income program.

“I am excited about developing strong relationships with community members to build partnerships that will maximize fund development and service,” Bloemers said in a news release. “I will work closely with other WIPPS staff and our board to tell the WIPPS story, and share our mission to increase civic engagement and youth involvement.”

Prior to her arrival at WIPPS, Bloemers had an established career in sales and marketing. She also was involved in community needs, helping a local nonprofit group that focused on safety in youth athletics, serving as their coordinator for several years. Bloemers and her family are heavily involved with Peyton’s Promise, a volunteer group that helps feed those in need in Marathon County.

A Green Bay native, she graduated from St. Norbert College in De Pere with a bachelor’s degree in business administration – majoring in international business and language area studies.
