Wintry weather was a factor in several Wausau-area crashes early Wednesday, as the region remains under a winter weather advisory until noon.

Police say a driver crashed into a conference room at Coldwell Banker Action Realty, 928 Grand Ave., Schofield. The crash was reported at about 8:50 a.m. No one inside the building is injured, police said. Additional details are expected later today.

Another crash happened at about 10 a.m. in Weston, when the driver of an SUV slid into a school bus with children inside, police said. The crash happened on Schofield avenue near Fuller Street and shut down the road for about 45 minutes. No one was injured.

Crews also responded at about 10 a.m. to a report of a vehicle on its side in Rib Mountain. Traffic was limited to a single lane on Bittersweet Road near Juniper Lane, but has since reopened. No one was injured.
