Police in Wausau have confirmed a man reporting missing this week has been found. Family members confirm the man has died.
According to the Wausau Police Department, Paul Hitz left his home on the northeast side of Wausau sometime between Dec. 19 and Dec. 20 and was not in contact with his family for several days.
Hitz was last seen the morning of Dec. 20 near the Blue Willow Restaurant, 1111 N. Fourth Ave., Wausau, police said.
Police on Sunday discovered Hitz and his vehicle, according to a WPD news release.
