Assumption Girls Basketball– The Royals came up with a nice Marawood-South victory over rival Marathon on Friday night, winning by the final score of 58-43.

Wausau East Boys Basketball– The Lumberjacks continue to impress as they earned a 58-48 win over Lakeland on Thursday night.  East is now 8-1 overall heading into the holiday break.

Rapids Wrestling– After knocking off #4 ranked Marshfield in the previous week, Rapids continued to roll, coming up with a 46-22 victory over SPASH on December 20.

SPASH Boys Basketball– Don’t look now, but the Panthers have ticked off three straight wins. This week they upended Valley opponent Merrill and knocked out non-conference foe Antigo.

Wausau West Girls Basketball– The Warriors had no problem handling Antigo on December 20, winning 85-43.  West is now 9-1 and will take on Oshkosh North on December 27.

D.C. Everest Girls Basketball– It was a great finish on December 18 as the Evergreens toppled Marshfield as Hanna Stuedemann collected a rebound off a missed free throw, drove the lane and netted a lay up just before time expired to deliver a win to the home team.

Auburndale Boys Basketball– The Apaches picked up a big conference win on December 18 as they knocked off Marathon 56-49.  Auburndale is now 6-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play.
