NEW LONDON — One woman is dead following a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 45 in New London, police say.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. Monday near Hwy. 15 when a northbound driver lost control of a vehicle that crossed into the southbound lane and struck another vehicle, police said.
The 39-year-old victim, whose name was not immediately released, was a passenger in the southbound vehicle. The woman died before she could be transported to a hospital for treatment, according to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department.
Several other people were injured but are expected to survive.
No additional details were immediately released.
