An early morning crash left at least one person injured when a semi tractor trailer slammed into a group of three homes in Weston, authorities said.

Emergency crews were called at about 1 a.m. to the 4900 block of Annabelle Court in Weston for an initial report of a possible building collapse. When they arrived, crews discovered the crash and determined that a westbound semi on Hwy. 29 veered off the roadway and into the adjacent residential area.

One person inside a home was injured. There’s no word on whether the semi driver was injured or what led to the crash.

The name of the driver has not yet been released and the crash remains under investigation.
