ROTHSCHILD — One person is hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash Sunday morning in Rothschild.
Officials say a man who was traveling on East Grand Avenue crashed into a utility pole after suffering a medical emergency. Efforts to free the man from his vehicle were hampered by an active power line connected to the utility pole, but resumed when utility crews cut off power.
No other passengers or vehicles were involved in the crash, officials said.
The man, whose name and age have not yet been released, was taken to an area hospital by ambulance. There’s no word on his current condition.
