OWEN — An 87-year-old man who died when the vehicle he was driving was struck Saturday by a passing train has been identified as George Louis, of Owen.
The crash happened at about 10 a.m. Saturday on Berglin Avenue south of Pine Road. Police say Louis was attempting to cross the train tracks when he was struck by a freight train.
The Wisconsin State Patrol is handling the investigation of the crash.
