Wausau— Take a look at the Athlete of the Week candidates and vote today!

Nick Brenner, Newman– Nominated on Twitter, Brenner had 21 points, three assists and three steals Friday in a win against Abbotsford.

Nolan Blair, SPASH– Blair and the Panthers made a statement against D.C. Everest on Friday.  Blair led the Panthers with 24 points in the 75-51 win.

Emma Van Order, Pacelli– Van Order had a career high 17 points for the sophomore with four three pointers, three rebounds and two steals giving the Pacelli Girls a balanced attack against Bowler.

Madalyn Bohn, Assumption– Bohn had 25 points as Assumption dismantled Chequamegon 79-22.

Cade Lemmer, Wausau West– Lemmer helped dig the Warriors out of a 0-2 hole against Wisconsin Valley Conference rival Marshfield as he scored three goals to lift Wausau West to a 4-2 victory.

Emma Warner, Gilman– Warner led the Pirates with 29 points in a 75-45 victory over Greenwood.

Jen Wendler, Owen-Withee– Wendler had 34 points to lead four Blackhawks in double digits as Owen-Withee defeated Loyal 83-70.

Grace Holland, Marshfield– Holland placed first in each event at the Wisconsin Rapids invitational on Saturday except the floor exercise, where she was second to Mackenzie Pendleton of Mukwonago.  Holland placed first in the all-around.
