The Marathon County Public Library will host several events in the coming weeks at its various libraries.


Adults can learn the technique of pull string art, where string and paint are used to create various pictures or phrases, during Adult Night at the Library on Jan. 7 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Edgar Branch, 224 S. Families can hear stories, read and participate in various activities related to the areas of science, technology, engineering, arts and math during Home School Huddle on Jan. 8 from 1-2 p.m. at the Edgar Branch, 224 S. Teens interested in volunteering, socializing with other teens and planning programs the library offers can join the Teen Advisory Group at the Marathon County Public Library. MCPL will offer monthly meetings beginning Jan. 8 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at its Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. TAG will meet on the first Tuesday of each month through May 7.
