CRANDON — Five people arrested when officers discovered 11 bags of heroin, 12 bags of crack cocaine and other paraphernalia during a traffic stop Saturday in Forest County, according to a WJFW report.

Forest County Sheriff’s authorities say police stopped the vehicle at about 8:50 p.m. Saturday and brought in a K9 unit for the search. Digital scales, packaging and other items were discovered in addition to the drugs, police said.Police arrested the driver, Rhonda Rachal of Crandon and her two passengers, Jay White Jr., 26, of Crandon and Cayenne Ross, 22, of Watersmeet, Mich.

Detectives used a search warrant to go through Rachal’s home in the township of Lincoln. There, investigators discovered more scales, packaging materials, marijuana, and drug items.

Officers arrested two people inside the home: Brandon Phalen, 20, of Crandon and Keshia Morris, 26, of Crandon who are suspected of possessing drug paraphernalia.

Rachal, White, and Ross all could face charges for felony possession with intent to deliver heroin, crack cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Rachal and Ross were also arrested on charges of felony bail jumping.

All five suspects are in the Forest County Jail awaiting charges.
