WAUSAU — Hi Restaurant will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the restaurant at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, January 18. This event will be held at 102 Jefferson Street.

The business is set to open to the public on Tuesday, Jan. 22 serving Chinese cuisine and Japanese sushi.

Owner Jin Xu has more than 10 years of experience as a chef and owner Pan Ziping worked as a high school art teacher before moving to the United States.

“We wish to continue to serve delicious Asian cuisine in the heart of downtown Wausau,” said Xu.
