Charlotte Thomas
Charlotte Ann (Eggebrecht) Thomas passed away on Jan. 23, 2019, at age 91. She was born on Oct. 6, 1927, to the late Arnold and Estella (Hoenish) Eggebrecht and married Wilfred Thomas on May 17, 1947.
Being born and raised in Wausau, her heart had a special place for Florida. After being snowbirds for a few years, Charlotte and her husband took up residence with the cities of St. Petersburg and Indian Rocks Beach. There, she loved the beach, shopping, dog races, ball games, riding the trolley, shuffle board and afternoon Manhattans.
Charlotte is survived by her sons Gary Thomas and John (Roxanne) Thomas. She has six grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents Arnold and Estella Eggebrecht, by her husband Wilfred, daughter Mary Tryba, brothers Charles (Betty) Eggebrecht, Robert (Eleanor) Eggebrecht, Arnold Jr. who died as an infant and one sister Doris (Leroy) Schultz.
Funeral services will be held Monday, Jan. 28 at 11 a.m. at Brainard Funeral Home, 522 Adams St., Wausau, with a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery.

Lloyd Krautkramer
Lloyd M. Krautkramer, 61, of Marathon died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
He was born Octo. 5, 1957, in Wausau, son of the late Sylvester and Marian (Gau) Krautkramer. On July 30, 1983, he married Carrie Kostroski at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Marathon. She survives.
Early in his career, Lloyd drove school bus and worked at GNR Equipment in Marathon, then he worked for a number of years at Bombardier Inc. in Wausau. Most recently, Lloyd was a supervisor at Greenheck Fan Corp. in Schofield and raised ginseng with his brothers, Jerome and Paul. He also served as a Board of Education member for the Marathon School District, participated in the Town of Marathon Zoning Board and served as a member of the Marathon Village Board.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Krautkramer, Marathon, his children, Dr. Landon (Keith) Harrison, Fort Wayne; Raven Krautkramer, Chicago; and Larin Krautkramer, Marathon. His surviving siblings include Marjorie (Lyle) Pospyhalla, Stratford; Theresa (Lawrence) Berres, Marathon; Georgine (Thomas) Blume, Marathon; Janet (Wayne) Carroll, Luxemburg; Dennis, Madison; Jerome (Pauline), Marathon; Paul (Janice), Marathon; Marie (David) Burish, Wausau; Sylvester “Sly”, Jr. (Nancy), Marathon; Michele (Rodney) Butalla, Marathon; Andrew (Anita), Marathon; Jacklyn (Rodney) Hamann, Wausau; and Mark (Barbara), Marathon.
The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. The Rev. Monsignor Joseph Diermeier and Lloyd’s godson, the Rev. Jesse Burish, will preside. Friends may call on Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again on Sunday from 5 p.m. until the time of services, all at the church. There will be a parish rosary service at 8 p.m. Saturday evening at the church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established. Dorinda Hall
Dorinda C. Hall, 97, Marathon, died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2019, under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services at Copperleaf Assisted Living, Marathon.
She was born March 14, 1921, in Tthe town of Cassel, daughter of the late John and Mary (Sauter) Dalske. On Sept. 10, 1941, she married Michael Hall at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. He preceded her in death on Sept. 16, 2006.
Dorinda had a true passion for flowers and gardening; she was known as the flower lady of Marathon. She decorated the altar with her flowers at St. Mary Catholic Church for over 35 years. he enjoyed Polkas, country music, playing accordion and harmonica and loved to bake for everyone. Dorinda was a mother, housewife and caregiver who also cleaned private homes and businesses and worked at Marathon Cheese for 21 years. She went on a trip to Georgia, Milwaukee and Tomahawk to visit her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dorinda enjoyed going to birthdays, baptisms and looked forward to visits from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing canasta with relatives and crazy eights, Yahtzee and sheepshead with neighbors. Our mom was an inspiration to everyone she met and will be remembered as a wonderful, caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an amazing person and will be remembered.
Survivors include her children, Joan Crowell, Tomahawk, Geraldine (Francis) Urmanski, Tomahawk, and Michael (Marilyn) Hall, Marathon; grandchildren, Paul (Bridget) Urmanski, Dean (Shelly) Urmanski, Angela (Matthew) McCabe, Michelle (Cory) Scheiderer, Michael (Briana) Hall, Ashley Crowell and Zachary (Ronda) Crowell; great-grandchildren, Claire and Anne Urmanski, Max and Jack Urmanski, Katherine, Emily, Natalie, Eleanor and Gwyneth McCabe, Derek, Emma, Levi and Ethan Scheiderer, Michael and Mackenzie Hall, Portia and Cora Crowell.
Besides her parents and husband, Michael, she was preceded in death by a son, Patrick, sister, Marian Hall, brothers, Hubert Dalske and infant Freddie.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2019, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon. Rev. Msgr. Joseph Diemeier will preside. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of services, all at St. Mary Catholic Church, Marathon.

Phyllis Procknow
Phyllis J. Procknow, 75, of Wausau passed away on Monday, Jan. 21, 2019, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
She was born on June 22, 1943, Wausau, to the late Gustav and Hilda (Bauman) Dallman. She was a 1961 graduate of Marathon High School. She met the love of her life, Donald Procknow, in 1961 and they were married on June 22, 1963, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Rib Falls.
Phyllis had worked at Fromm Brothers Ginseng, Fiskars Manufacturing, K-Mart and Trigs. Her hobbies included crocheting, playing cards (especially sheepshead), listening to Sunday Morning Polkas, making potato salad, reading harlequin romance novels, playing games, collecting Fenton Figurines, tie blankets, watching her Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers Football, watching racing, taking walks with Peanut, and especially spending time with her family.
Phyllis’ favorite foods included haddock fish frys, Bar-B-Q, chili and pepperoni Pizza from Pizza Hut.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Procknow; son, Robin (Rose) Procknow; daughter, Debra (Christopher) Tuft; grandchildren, Derek Procknow, Amanda Normand, Andrew (Natalie) Normand and Dylan Tuft; her fur babies, Peanut and Oreo; brothers, Larry Dallman, Dennis (Karen) Dallman and Harley (Patti) Dallman; brothers-in-law, Robert “Bobby” (Liz) Procknow and Earl Procknow; and sister-in-law, Sandy (Doyle Jr.) Klade.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her sister, Mercedes Dallman; and sister-in-law, Darlene Dallman.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019, at Salem Evangelical Lutheran Church (2822 N. Sixth St. in Wausau). Pastor Jeffrey Mahnke will officiate. Burial will follow in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery in Rib Falls. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.
