MARATHON — The Pomeranian German immigration to central Wisconsin will be in the spotlight during the next History Speaks in Your Town event, presented by the Marathon County Historical Society and the Continuing Education office of UW-Stevens Point at Wausau.

DuWayne Zamzow

DuWayne Zamzow will hold a presentation at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 11 at Marathon High School, 204 East St., Marathon.

There will be information about the Pommerscher Verein of Central Wisconsin and its goals to preserve this German heritage.
