WAUSAU — The Woodson YMCA’s Father Daughter Dance is fast approaching.
The annual dance and YMCA fundraiser set for Feb. 9 at the Woodson YMCA- Wausau Branch is a night for dads and daughters to dress up (semi-formal), spend quality time and bond over crafts, dancing and treats. It gives dads the chance to slow down and make special time for their daughters of all ages.
The dance will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
With fundraising special events such as the Father Daughter Dance, the Woodson YMCA was able to help more than 2,100 youths experience Y programs, such as summer camp, youth sports, gymnastics and swimming, in 2018.
Tickets for the dance are available at either YMCA branch, Wausau or Weston (Aspirus YMCA). Advance tickets are $14 per person for members, $19 for non-members. (Additional daughters receive a discount of $3). Tickets at the door are $22 per person.
