WAUSAU — A portion of 28th Avenue in Wausau is closed Monday due to treacherous road conditions, according to an email from the city of Wausau.
The road is closed from W. Wausau Ave. to Madonna Drive. Officials are unsure how long the road will be closed. An update will be issued when travel conditions improve.
Motorists should avoid the area and find an alternate route.
