ROTHSCHILD — Marathon County Crime Stoppers is trying to identify the person who stole a firearm suppressor during a gun show last month in Rothschild.
Between 6 and 7 p.m. on Jan. 25, an unknown suspect stole a Hornet .22 caliber sound suppressor at the Wausau/Rothschild Gun Show from a vendor’s display area.
Police also caution that anyone who is in possession of a firearm sound suppressor is also committing a crime — unless the person has complied with specific federal licensing and registration requirements.
