RIB MOUNTAIN — The Bone & Joint Clinic celebrated the opening of its new service line, Bone & Joint Physical Therapy, with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Jan. 30 at its Hummingbird Road location.
Bone & Joint is an independent orthopedic, sports medicine and pain management specialty clinic with service locations in Merrill, Medford, Plover and Rib Mountain. Bone & Joint’s new physical therapy service centers are located at the Rib Mountain and Plover clinic buildings.
Bone & Joint’s physical and occupational therapy services help people recover from all types of joint-and-muscle-related illnesses and injuries, including sports injuries, arthritis, work-related and overuse injuries, and post-surgical conditions.
“Our new physical therapy center allows our expert medical team to offer fully integrated orthopedic, pain management and sports medicine care from the initial diagnosis through recovery,” said Terry Lawrence, CEO of Bone & Joint, in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “Now we have the capacity to offer patients diagnostic imaging services, noninvasive treatments, on-site surgical services in our fully staffed surgery center, and a wide range of physical therapy services. With the addition of our physical therapy department, we are a one-stop shop for the community’s orthopedic and mobility needs.”
