The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Marathon County as a strong storm system makes its way through the area.
Expect up to 6 inches of snow to fall Sunday, weather officials say.
The advisory is in effect until 9 p.m. Sunday.
A winter weather advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Expect snow covered roads with limited visibility and use caution while driving.
Multiple crashes are being reported county-wide.
