NEWS RELEASE — The Wisconsin Woodchucks are announcing the first two players of their 2019 roster. Freshman, T.J. Reeves (OF) at Alabama University and junior, Brandon Seltzer (OF) at Palm Beach Atlantic University will be joining the Woodchucks in the upcoming season.

T.J. Reeves, a 5’11”, 200 lb. freshman from Alabama University will bring his athleticism to the Woodchucks. Reeves is from Birmingham, Alabama and attended Hueytown High School. Ranked as the top-rated outfielder in the state and No. 5 overall prospect from Alabama according to Perfect Game USA, he is also ranked the No. 50 outfielder in the 2018 class by Perfect Game. Reeves was rated as the No. 11 MLB Draft prospect in the state of Alabama for the 2018 draft by Baseball America. He batted .438 with 13 doubles, five triples and seven home runs as a senior in high school and added 30 RBI.

Brandon Seltzer, 6’2?, 200 lb. junior from Palm Beach Atlantic University brings two seasons of experience with him to the Woodchucks. Seltzer grew up in Staten Island, N.Y. and previously attended Fairleigh Dickinson University. He played two seasons at Fairleigh Dickinson University leaving with a batting percentage of .228, four home runs, 12 RBI, 14 doubles and an on base percentage of .323.

The Wisconsin Woodchucks 2019 home opener is Saturday, June 1. Single game tickets will go on sale in April.
