SHAWANO COUNTY, Wis. — A section of Hwy. 29 is closed Sunday due to a pileup involving at least 10 vehicles, according to the Shawano County Sheriff’s Department.

Eastbound traffic is being detoured as a result of the crash, which happened at about 2:10 p.m. near mile marker 160.

The road remained closed at 5:2 p.m. Sunday. There’s no word yet on injuries.

Shawano County officials are also advising that Hwy. 55 from 160 to 156 is considered impassable and is closed to all traffic.
