More than 7,000 customers are without power on Sunday as a strong storm continues to make its way through central Wisconsin, according to Wisconsin Public Service.

Wind gusts of up to 60 mph Sunday morning combined with heavy snow and ice are contributing to the outages, with multiple reports of downed trees and power lines.

The largest outage is in the Stevens Point area, where more than 4,500 customers are without power. Crews are working to restore power, but whiteout conditions are complicating efforts by crews to reach affected areas.
