Major incidents reported to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department for the week ending March 4, 2019:

At 8:24 a.m. Wednesday morning, a two vehicle crash in the Town of Scott at the intersection of County Rd K and County Rd Q resulted in injuries to a Merrill woman. The 24-year-old woman was trapped in her vehicle and had to be removed using the jaw of life. She was transported to the Trauma Center at Aspirus with non-life threating injuries.

A second crash occurred in the Town of Merrill on Wood Duck Lane at 10:46 a.m. Wednesday. Two women were transported to Ascension Good Samaritan Hospital following that incident.

A 19-year-old Merrill woman was arrested Friday morning at about 1:35 a.m. on charges of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a report of a disturbance in the Town of Scott.

A 35-year-old Merrill man was arrested Saturday morning on felony charges after a deputy came across a fight in the Town of Merrill at 2:28 a.m. When contact was made with the Merrill man he provided a false name. When the man’s real identity was determined, it was found he was out on two felony bonds in Lincoln County which required absolute sobriety. The man was arrested on two counts of bail jumping along with a misdemeanor charge of obstructing an officer.

A 47-year-old Tomahawk woman was arrested Sunday morning on a warrant charge just before 10 p.m. The woman was wanted by the Marathon County Sheriff on a criminal traffic charge.

No one reported striking a deer this past week.
