The Marathon County Highway Department will be sweeping bridges, cleaning and sealing bridge end joints next week on I-39/US 51 northbound and southbound beginning Monday, April 1.
Crews will be using mobile operations to notify drivers of lane closures from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 1 through April 4.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to sweep bridge decks and interchanges.
Motorists should drive with caution through the work zones and be alert for slow moving vehicles.
Work is scheduled for completion on Thursday, April 4th. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
