WAUSAU PILOT AND REVIEW

ADAMS COUNTY, Wis. — Excessive water over the roadway on Thursday forced the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to close a portion of Hwy. 21 in Adams County, according to a DOT news release.

The closure is between Third Avenue and CTH G in Adams County. Eastbound traffic is being directed to Hwy. 13 south to Hwy. 82 east, then north back to Hwy. 21. Westbound traffic is detoured in reverse.

The hard closure will be placed at these intersections allowing local access to these routes.

Reopening the road will depend on continuing weather conditions.
