46th Annual Children’s Festival. The Wausau and Marathon County Parks, Recreation & Forestry Department is hosting the 46th Annual Children’s Festival on April 6 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. They are seeking several volunteers to arrive by 8:45 a.m. to be stationed at the entranceways and at the idea board. Respite care volunteers. Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice Services is looking for people who can offer the gift of time to family members who have a loved one in our Hospice Care Program. Give rides to seniors. Faith in Action helps those in need to receive rides to medical appointments or the grocery store. If you enjoy older people and can give a few hours a month, contact Jamie at 715-848-8783 or wausaufiainfo@gmail.com.

Temporary pet foster care. Help victims of domestic violence by providing a safe place for their furry loved ones. You will be provided with all supplies needed.
