PORT EDWARDS, Wis. — A death investigation is underway in the Wood County village of Port Edwards, according to sheriff’s officials.

Officers were called at 7:30 p.m. Monday to a home on Chak Ha Chee Lane for a report of a man who wasn’t breathing and didn’t have a pulse. The 32-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s name has not been released and it is unclear whether anyone has been taken into custody in connection with his death.

The Wood County Sheriff’s Department and the Ho-Chunk Police Department are continuing their investigation.
