Dear editor,
The spring general election is Tuesday, April 2, only a few days away. I have knocked on hundreds of doors, talked to scores of neighbors and community members, and plan to do even more this upcoming week. As much as I enjoy getting to know all of you, I will be relieved once this election is over so I can rest and serve you.
I’m running to serve my community. I’m running to keep Weston strong and help future D.C. Everest graduates achieve ever greater heights. My message has been the same from the beginning: I want my home to do well and for Everest graduates to receive an even more spectacular education than I received.
When my neighbors in Weston go to the polls on election day, they’ll have three votes for village board and four candidates. I hope to earn one of their three votes.
When the rest of my community members from all the municipalities that D.C. Everest covers, they will have four votes for five school board candidates. Again, I hope to earn one of their four votes.
Regardless of the results on election day, I will remain your neighbor, classmate and friend. Thank you for your support, now and always.
