STEVENS POINT, Wis. — Two suspects are in custody after altercation that left four people wounded, according to the Stevens Point Police Department

Officers responded at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday to an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Roberts Place in Stevens Point for a report of a disturbance, according to a news release. Four adults were involved in the altercation, all of whom were wounded, police said.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the suspects, a 22-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, confronted two victims at an apartment. The alleged victims, a 23-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman, were injured and both suspects received stab wounds, according to police.

Both suspects are being referred to the District Attorney’s Office for charges of battery and once medically cleared will be transported to the Portage County Jail.

The investigation is still ongoing and all involved are in stable condition.
