RIB MOUNTAIN — The pedestrian underpass near Rib Mountain State Park will close temporarily in April for routine maintenance work.
The pedestrian underpass will be closed from April 1 to April 5 as crews work to minimize the amount of water seepage in the underpass, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Northcentral Region. The underpass is north of Highway N / Rib Mountain Drive, under Highway 51/ Highway 29.
Motorists are urged to slow down and be mindful of workers near highways. Maintenance operation schedules can change because of weather and maintenance crew personnel.
