WAUSAU — An 18-year-old Schofield man already facing accusations of sexually assaulting an 8-year-old child is now behind bars and facing multiple new charges including sexual assault of a 16-year-old girl.

Colton J. Bradberry is being held in the Marathon County Jail on a $2,500 bond, the first $1,000 of which must be paid in cash. He faces charges of second degree sexual assault, sexual intercourse with a child, and four counts of bail jumping in the latest case filed March 27 in Marathon County Circuit Court.

Police were called at 3:36 p.m. March 25 by a mother who reported her daughter had been raped, according to the criminal complaint. The alleged victim told investigators she first met Bradberry on social media, but later agreed to meet in person. When the alleged victim arrived at Bradberry’s home, he allegedly led her into a camper and forcefully assaulted her.

At the time of the alleged assault, Bradberry was out on bond with a condition of having no contact with anyone younger than age 18, court records show. That limitation was ordered in a Dec. 18 case in which he is accused of forcing an 8-year-old boy to rub his genitals. In the December case, Bradberry is facing charges of first-degree child sexual assault and intimidation of a victim.

If Bradberry is convicted on the most recent charges, he faces a maximum penalty of up to 58 years in the Wisconsin Prison System. A preliminary hearing is set for April 3.
